History of Computing
The computer or computer, not a figment of anyone in particular, but the result of evolutionary ideas and achievements of many people involved in areas such as electronics, mechanics, semiconductor materials, logic, algebra and programming.
Age Media
The Persian mathematician and engineer Musa al-Juarismi (780-850), invented the algorithm, ie solving algebra problems methodically and numeracy through a well-defined list, ordered and finite operations to find the solution to problem posed.

1617: Just before dying, the Scottish mathematician John Napier (1550-1617), famous for his invention of logarithms, developed a system for manipulating arithmetic bars, which he called "bones" as they were built

1820: The first mass-produced calculator was distributed by Charles Thomas of Colmar. Originally they were sold to insurance Parisian houses, the Colmar arithmometer operated using a variation of the Leibniz wheel. Over a thousand aritmómetros sold and eventually received a medal at the International Exhibition in London in 1862.
1822: Charles Babbage completes its artifact of the difference, a special-purpose machine that could be used to compute values of polynomial functions using the difference method. The artifact of the difference was a complex assembly of wheels, gears, and rivets. Babbage designed his "analytical engine", a general-purpose device that was able to run any type of mathematical calculation. The analytical engine designs were the first clear conceptualization of a machine that could perform the type of computations that are now considered the heart of computing. Babbage never built his analytical engine, but his plan influenced all subsequent digital computer, including modern. The analytical engine was finally built by a modern team of engineers in 1989, one hundred years after Babbage's death in 1871. In his judgment, Babbage is now known as the "Father of modern computers."
1837: Charles Babbage's Analytical Engine describes. It is the design of a modern general purpose computer. The idea that Charles Babbage was born on a computer because the development of mathematical tables was a very
